Pass Fire

On February 15, 2017 at 0755 hours, the Burbank Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire on Pass Avenue. Engine 12 was first on scene of a tree burning inside an unpermitted, enclosed patio. Personnel extinguished the fire in approximately 10 minutes, provided smoke removal and covered the owners’ personal property. FP1 is investigating the cause and origin. Glendale Fire Department units moved up into Burbank fire stations for coverage. The Building Division was notified of the unpermitted construction. Burbank Water and Power cut the illegal electrical feed. The Burbank Police Department provided traffic control and safety. All units cleared by 0953 hours. There was $5,000 damage to the structure and $1,000 to the contents. There were no reported injuries to personnel or civilians.
